Measurement and Evaluation for PAN Localization project
using Gendered Outcome Mapping OMG
PAN Localization project in it's second phase aims to achive more ambitious targets in terms of enhancing the localization technology developed, providing focused training on the localized ICTs to the end-users and initiating a momentum to trigger local content development in respective local languages of the target end-users. However with the enhancements in the project goals, more effort needs to be put in, to closely monitor the project progress in order to ensure that the project meets its delineated objectives.
Outcome Mapping (OM)
http://www.outcomemapping.ca/∞ and Gender Evaluation Methods (GEM)
http://www.apcwomen.org/gem/∞ are two separate methodologies that provides tools and techniques to plan, monitor and evaluate projects. For monitoring and evaluation of the PAN Localization project, we will be following the Outcome Mapping Framework on all CPIs with gender indicators and gender concerns embedded within the framework.
Detailed in specific links below are the program execution frameworks of PAN Localization project country partner institutes following a hybrid approach to project evaluation using OM and GEM frameworks.
